St Albert Places of Community

Hi, my name is Wes Brodhead and I am seeking your support to be reelected to St. Albert City Council on October the 18th.

During my years on Council, one statement that I have heard continually is the term St. Albert is a City with a small town feel. I’ve interpreted this statement to mean that people acknowledge the fact that St. Albert is a City, but one with an ambience that is close to a community and a civic friendliness that reminds people of a small town, where as they say, everyone knows your name.

St. Albert is known for its amenities, its beauty and its vitality, which is why I have loved to call St. Albert home. There are elements in our city that I believe contribute to the overall sense of community that we do to describe as a small town feel.

I believe that St. Albert has retained this sense of a close community through what I am going to call its places of community, it’s places of growth and it’s places of peace. When I say places of community, I simply mean St. Albert has places where people gather for normal everyday activities. But when you consider that all of these places are available in our fair city, they collectively contribute to a quality of life that makes St Albert such a wonderful place to call home.
