Over the past 7 years, I have had the honour to be a Councillor of the City of St. Albert.
Municipal governance decisions most closely affect the lives of our engaged community. It is the choices that are made at a municipal level that truly define what the life experience of our residents is going to be about.
In the coming weeks, I will be calling on St. Albert neighbourhoods to ask for your continued support.
St. Albert will grow in the next four years, this much is certain. But how we grow as a community will depend upon collaboration and our ability to respond to St. Albert’s current and future requirements. Confidence tempered with good judgment are keys to continued success.
All of us need to participate to make St. Albert a great place in which to live. Individuals, sports clubs, social agencies, artistic groups, churches and service clubs. We are team players in community support and development.
I believe we can face the future with confidence, and continue to build the award-winning community that our forefathers have created over the past 150 years. We have the wisdom, strength, creativity, determination and the resources to face the challenges of tomorrow and compete with any city in our capital region, province and country. We’ve proven it and have the rankings and awards to show for it.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts as we begin the countdown to election day: October 16, 2017
I am honoured to present my 2017 platform to our community and look forward to the conversations that will take place in the coming weeks.
